Hello everyone!
Could you say how to create my own map for loading in Marble, in particular dgml file, if I have offline map tiles. |

Have you tried looking at the maps shipped with Marble and basing your own map off of them?

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the specific formats Marble supports for maps - it is quite likely you will need to use a different tool to handle SHP format files however. The Marble developers may be able to provide more insight here.

Marble provides support for opening .shp files - they can be read and displayed, though maybe not all features are supported yet. Are you looking for .shp files already used by Marble? For efficiency we have converted them to a custom format (pn2) using src/tools/shp2pn2.

Yes, I'm looking for .shp files. Could I find them in Marble source code or only pn2 files are available? Where I can find .shp files which used in Marble for pn2?

Hello! I have problems with your tool shp2pn2. I downloaded shp files from naturalearthdata.com and tried to convert them to pn2 format, but got the error "Core dumped (SIGSEGV)". Could you help me?

You need to build Marble against libshape in order to use the SHP file format inside Marble and inside shp2pn2:
