Satellite view resolution

Sat Jan 30, 2016 1:53 pm
Hello KDE.

Not sure this is the right forum. It looks more developer oriented. I'm just a user. If this should be directed elsewhere please inform me, as this was the only link I saw. Sorry if it's the wrong venue for this.

Simple question however - I'm running Marble on a Debian Jessie 32-bit machine and the resolution in satellite view is very limited. My assumption is that I should be getting a resolution typical to GIS based applications. Can't find any settings to change it.

Thanks for any information on the matter, or the right place to go for help.

This forum is fine for both user and developer questions.

Regarding the satellite map resolution: Right now we have satellite data with but a coarse resolution. We looked into integrating other data to improve it, but have not finished it.
