I wonder if this is intentional or not.
I've occasionally had the OSM slippy map drag direction become decoupled from the direction I would expect, so that if, for example, I drag east, the map would move northeast, or southeast, or in any case some direction other than east. I've puzzled over that, and usually just restarted Marble at that point. I've recently discovered I have control and can deliberately change the drag direction by doing a right-mouse-button drag. So far, I've only tried short strokes toward or away from the center. Any comments? (I really can't believe this is an intentional design goal.) |
