gdb support on MacOSX

Mon Apr 30, 2012 11:05 am
I installed kdevelop using macports on MscOS Snowleopard 10.6.8. And figured out that the gdb=plugin isn't enabled. Looking in the cmake.txt i see that gdb isn't enabled for OSX and Wondows.

My (first) question is: why is gdb support disabled on OSX?

Best regards

as far as I can see the reason is that the process-list that currently resides in kde workspace is not available on mac or something like this? at leas that's what I get from this commit:

commit 828aacf6c185c5d773d394e72ceac972352308dc
Author: Andreas Pakulat <apaku@gmx.de>
Date: Mon Jun 1 10:46:47 2009 +0000

Disable gdb plugin on MacOSX until the process-libs move to kdelibs.

you could try to disable that check and see what happens. Bye
