I have the same problem like in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158522 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145495. It is debugger abnormal exit with watch expression std::string. I use the last version of gdb, kde, kdevelop and in spite of these posts marked "resolved fixed", I STILL do not see any solution.
I guess that problem is rather widespread and I hardly believe that there is no way to debug code with string objects. Does anybody know any solution for it? is there probably any special flags for gdb? I would appreciate any help. Thanks
