I just updated to KDevelop 4.3.1, and I've noticed some nice improvements - thanks!
Is there a way to change settings for the Konsole plugin? It starts in my home directory, and I'd like it to start elsewhere - either the dir of the current document, or (if that isn't possible) in /opt/blah. I've looked through the settings and I don't see a way to do this. I could probably open a separate Konsole window and change the global Konsole settings from there, but that isn't what I want - I only want the change to affect Konsole when it's opened inside KDevelop. |

Hm, I don't know whether KDevelop has the ability to select a konsole profile to launch, I think it will just use the default one... You could alter the default profile, and change the shortcut you otherwise use to start konsole to start another profile than the default. That's not really an elegant solution, tough ;p
I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

This is an old thread but this is the first result I got from google when searching for "KDevelop Konsole profile". I was looking to change the Konsole profile used by because my default Konsole profile is set up to attach to a running tmux session, which causes problems when that session is also attached to by KDevelop.
So for future reference, to change the Konsole profile used by KDevelop, edit the 'kdeveloprc' file (on my machine it is under ~/.kde4/share/config/) and change the DefaultProfile setting under the [Desktop Entry] section to the requested profile:
