KDevelop 3.3.4 Embedded Console

Just installed KDevelop 3.3.4 on CentOS 6.2. Working OK, but embedded console is missing. Icon at bottom of window for embedded has ?. I've tried configuring KDevelop to no avail. Any ideas?
