Hello I have been wanting to get back into coding and wanted to start refreshing my C knowledge. I installed Kdevelop 4.3 and kapptemplate on Kubuntu 12.04. When I go to create a new project I only get options for c++ but nothing for c. I used to use Kdevelop for c but that was version 3.x. I searched Google for a fix but everything I found didn't help me. Was c taken out of Kdevelop 4?

Just open minimal C++ template and adapt it to be C-only. KDevelop has no pure C support, only the subset that is also included in C++.
See e.g.: http://www.gnurou.org/code/kdevelop-kernel
current KDE projects: Quanta, KDevelop, Kate
