Hi, everyone.

I'm new to KDevelop, so this may sound like a really stupid question, but here it goes anyway: how do you type input in the internal terminal in KDevelop?

Say I have a program that asks the user his/her age. When I execute it in KDevelop I can see the output (the question) but I can't add any input.

When I run the program in Ubuntu's terminal, it works fine, but I can't input anything in KDevelop.

Do any of you know how to input stuff? Is it even possible?

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, KDevelop 4.3.1, KDE 4.8.4.

Hello!

The Output view of KDevelop is only an output view, and does not support input. Nobody wanted to implement a terminal emulator specifically for kdevelop, and konsole doesn't have all the API one needs for e.g. clickable items. If your program needs input, select "Use external terminal" in the launch configuration dialog.
