Hello!

I want to create a button or submenu to run gtik from kdevelop.

How can I do this (maybe I have to make a little plugin)?

Kind regards, Jeroen

Yes, you probably have to create a plugin which allows to add custom actions executing commands. No such thing currently exists.

Hi,

I stumbled into this thread as I was looking for gitk integration in kdevelop. Has there been any progress on this plugin since December? I also wonder if there are any plans to integrate the functionality of gitk into kdevelop?

Kind regards,

Hi,

"gitk integration" isn't really something which has a very defined meaning. As said, if you just want a plugin which launches gitk when you click a button -- that's easy enough to do.
KDevelop has some git support by itself, which partially overlaps with what gitk does (see "Review" area).

Greetings,
Sven
