Am imported a New existing project in Kdevelop4.0 on Ubuntu10.04 operating system. But in that Application debugging mode Breakpoint is not working. means while Debugging my application project is not stopping at breakpoint. and it is showing below message in Debug tab.

(gdb) detach
(gdb) quit
gdb --interpreter=mi2 -quiet

Please send me the solution of this.

Did you build your project in debug mode (-g flag for gcc)? Otherwise it cannot work.
