I am using Debian with KDE 4.4.5 - a rather old KDE version.
But I don't want to take risk by upgrade to those versions that is not in the stable repository list. Since the newest version of kDevelop 4.4.1 require at least KDE 4.5, and my KDE can't meet this requirement. I want to know can 4.3.1 install in KDE 4.4.5 or not ? |

I think you can't, there was a change to kate in KDE 4.5 which is required by all newer versions of kdevelop. You could possibly build kate from KDE >= 4.5 on top of KDE 4.4, and then build kdevelop on top of that. But I doubt it's worth it...
Greetings, Sven
I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
