KDevelop Upgrading

New to this arena so please be patient!

I'm using LinuxMint 12 and have KDevelop 4.2.3 (using KDE Development Platform 4.7.4) installed and would like to upgrade to KDevelop 4.4.1. An indication is made that KDevelop 4.4.1 needs KDE 4.5 or higher. How, on my LinuxMint 12 platform, can I determine what version of KDE my platform is at.

You can do that by clicking Help -> About KDE in any KDE application, or by typing
Code: Select all
kde4-config --version
