Debugging with kdev-python question

Sun Jun 23, 2013 10:26 pm
What is supposed to be in the Debug tab/view (if anything)?

On the bottom bar are Debug, Konsole, Breakpoints. Breakpoints is showing the breakpoints I have set. The Debug view is empty and I'm wondering if I'm missing something. On the left bar I have a Variables view that shows my variables and they update as I step through. I can mouse over a variable and set it as a watch, which will then be displayed under Auto in the Variables view. So I think I have everything working. I'm wondering if I'm missing something or maybe the Debug view is for C/C++?

That toolview just displays the standard output/error of your application, like in "Execute" mode.

Greetings,
Sven

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
