Hello
I have started to experience a problem recently when debugging with kdevelop. The debugger becomes very slow, taking up to a minute, in jumping between lines in my code. I always see kdevelop producing the following message to my terminal: kdevelop(49943)/kdevelop (gdb debugger) GDBDebugger::BreakpointController::update: can't parse location "Your GDB is too old" I am not so sure that I am running anything that is too old. I am using develop 4.5 on kdevplatform 1.5, and my gdb is 7.4-2012.04 I acknowledge that I was running a older version of gdb, which I updated, as I was trying to resolve the above issue. The problem however still persists. Any help would be appreciated, and lots of thanks for your great work. |

I'm having the same problem, using the following versions:
Qt: 4.8.5 KDE Development Platform: 4.10.5 KDevelop: 4.5.1 GNU gdb (GDB) 7.6 Is there a list of compatible Versions of KDevelop and GDB, so I can down-/upgrade one of the components to get a working configuration? |

My kdevelop also suddenly became unusually too slow. I don't know what exactly causes this behavior, but removing kdevelop sessions seems to get it working again.
