Project under symlinked directory

Sun Jul 21, 2013 11:22 am
Hello,
Im developing multiple projects for various platforms. We have multiple build trees and one source directory, the project in this directory is symlinked to the build trees. Is possible to force kdevelop to preserve symlinked directory? For exampe I have project X in xxx/src/X , this project is symlinked to Arm (xxx/arm/app/X ) tree and linux tree (xxx/linux/app/X) . If I open project in kdevelop from xxx/linux/app/X then run F8 for compile, the kdevelop run make under xxx/src/X. Is there some way how to solve it? Same problem on eclipse and another rich IDE's.

Best regards,
Jirka

Can you maybe use hard links to work around this issue? If not, you'd need to file a bug/wish to allow for this behaviour.

Greetings,
Sven

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
