Hello all,
I like KDevelop I would like to use it for some development with python. I have a problem. I cannot set working directory for debug launch in version 1.6.0. I went already through source codes of newer version 1.6.1 and this seems to be fixed there. But I cannot use it since they need python3. Is there some workaround how launch debugging in a specific directory? Or cannot you provide a patch for this? There is also some minor issue. Where is the standard output from python execution? Run window shows it only after termination of program. Thanks in advance for help. |

Finally I made a patch. You can apply it to version v1.6.0 of kdev-python, if you have it downloaded as a git repository using command:
------------ btw. how can I attach file here? |

Uhm, could at least post that on some comprehensible site? I don't even know where to click when following your link. Use pastebin.kde.org, if possible.

Sorry, I though that the site automatically turns to english version, if accessed from abroad.

Hi,
this is already fixed in 1.6 too, it was done in commit 22040b8f7 and git says:
It's not in the 1.6.0 release, though. I will do an 1.6.1 release for the python2 branch some day, then it will be there. Still, thanks for your effort! Greetings, Sven
I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

In regards to this forum - for hosting reasons the support for uploading user files is disabled i'm afraid.
