Always Show Line Numbers?

In the old version, whenever I opened a file it always had line numbers on. In 4.7, it seems that I have to turn on line numbers for every single file, every time. Is there no global option to always show line numbers?

There is, just set a tick in Settings -> Configure Editor -> Appearance -> Borders.
