As the screenshot indicates, I don't have the bug icon below the launch configurations. So I cannot create launches that support debug mode.
http://i.imgur.com/KHQX5QR.png Without it I cannot debug my projects. I've tried deleting ~/.kde4 to reset the ide but that didn't help. Any ideas how to fix this? Edit: Just found something that might be helpful in pinpointing the problem. The gdb plugin is checked in KDevelop preferences > plugins. But it is not in the list of loaded plugins. Help > loaded plugins have gdb installed though. Edit1: I downgraded to a previous build. Marking as solved.

The plugin not being loaded is probably your problem, yes. Where did you get KDevelop from (self-compiled, distro packages)?
I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

I got it from arch linux [extra] repository. |

Is a list of the files included within such packages available?

I'm afraid someone with access to an Arch system will have to run that.

Output of pacman -Ql kdevelop http://ix.io/fpZ |

Everything that should be needed seems to be present as far as I can tell.
Please run the following, then restart KDevelop and try to enable the GDB plugin.

That still does not solve the problem. I figured that is rather a arch linux packaging issue. With the plasma 5 libraries, libprocessui.so.4 does not get included with the dependency libraries. https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/42878 |
