It was a .tar file and it was downloaded from the KTE site. Now if you know what I'm talking about perhaps you can help me download the correct file to install the IDE with compiler if ya don't mind. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

scummos Global Moderator Posts 1175 Karma 7 OS	Re: Downloaded version 4.5.0 Mon Apr 27, 2015 6:50 am Use your package manager to install the "kdevelop" package. 4.5 is outdated and compiling from sources to install is a corner-case solution anyways. I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
