How can i run KDevelop 5 Beta? I downloaded the tar but when i try to run kdevelop i get the following error.
./kdevelop!: 31: ./kdevelop!: ./kdevelop: not found
Error: Failed retrieving a pid.

What is "kdeveloppl"?

Note that the tars are just source tarballs. I.e. you still have to compile the sources yourself.

'kdevelop!' (@kfunk: that's an exclamation mark, not an L) is the bash-integration thingy. It won't work unless there's a running KDevelop session to connect to, hence "failed retrieving a PID".

Run 'kdevelop' (without an exclamation mark), after compiling or otherwise installing it.
