Hello, :-)

Since a few days, I am looking to use KDevelop as my main IDE, and configuring slowly all the parameters to my preferences.

However, I have issues with 2 topics:

1) Trying to make the schema color to what I am used, I found some of the C++ code is still not correct: To test, I set the same color for each lexers of most of the languages but I still have part that show different.
Is that a bug? or what I am missing?

2? I do not like having "Enter" to accept suggestions, as when the work is at the end of the line, I usually accept them by mistake which is anoying. I disable all auto-completion features (Configure Editor > Editing > auto-Completion ).
But suggestions still appearing.
I also tried to change the shortcut key combination, but I was unable to found any match with "Enter"
How could I change the code suggestion "Enter" to accept, or how could I remove this code suggestion?

Kind regards,
Adrian M.

KDevelop applies an additional layer of semantic highlighting on top of the editor's highlighting. The colors for that are currently not explicitly configurable. You can turn off semantic highlighting by settings its intensity to zero in the "Language support" settings tab, but I wouldn't recommend it.

In the same tab, you can turn off "automatic invocation" for code completion. To trigger completion, use Ctrl+Space.

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

I see :-)
Now that I played with this feature, I see the point and I will probably just reduce the intensity to something that do not make my code look like carnaval. But seem pretty impressive.

I also managed to remove the automatic suggestion.

Thanks you.

As a developer, I like to get feedback, so here are a few possible feedbacks:
- Could be nice to have the possibility to select global variable semantic color.
- Changing the key to accept auto-complete / suggestions to something else than "Enter"

Kind regards,
Adrian M.
