Hi,
Link: http://kfunk.org/2016/02/16/building-kd ... ntu-15-10/ Other Details: Ubuntu 15.10(x64) on virtual box. While trying to install kdevelop using the command: kdesrc-build --debug libkomparediff2 grantlee kdevplatform kdevelop-pg-qt kdevelop The following error shows up: The following REQUIRED packages have not been found: * Clang (required version >= 3.5) Clang libraries. Used for KDevelop's C++/C support plugin. Please install a package providing libclang. CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-3.2/Modules/FeatureSummary.cmake:553 (message): feature_summary() Error: REQUIRED package(s) are missing, aborting CMake run. Call Stack (most recent call first): CMakeLists.txt:137 (feature_summary) The Clang version is 3.6.2 and I've installed libclang as well. I'm not sure as to what other clang libraries are required in this case. Been stuck with this problem for sometime now, please help. |

Please, don't duplicate threads. You already have two threads here (plus one on my blog) where you ask for help for setting up KDevelop.
Let's continue this here: http://kfunk.org/2016/02/16/building-kd ... 2549819738 (I'm assuming you're the same person over there).

Sorry about that. Wasn't sure if I could continue the discussion in the same thread, as the issue is different from my previous one.
