I used to have font ligature (like with FiraCode where == become only one symbol) working on kdevelop and now they don't anymore. Is there a way to activate that again ? They are working fine in Kate.

That is very strange, as KDevelop uses exactly the same text rendering code as kate does. When did it stop working?

I just reinstalled my OS and it stopped working :/. I'm on fedora 23

I tried to restart the projects with very little success still no ligature. I'm using Kdevelop 4.7.3 and I tried to downgrade to 7.1 with no change. I also tried to remove all my configuration file to have a 'clean' profile and it still didn't work

EDIT : ok I've found out that only the version 0.6 of FiraCode actually work with kdevelop. I've opened an issue on the github

On the font, right? I don't think this is in any way related to KDevelop, if anything then to katepart or more probably Qt font rendering.

Firacode only work with QT5/KF5, try to compile KDevelop 5 beta and it will work.
