I am getting the following error when I run kdevelop from terminal. This has confirmed that Python support is not loaded in my KDevelop.

Can some one help me ?

Code: Select all
Can't load plugin "kdevpythonsupport" because a factory to load the plugin could not be obtained: "Cannot load library /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/kdevplatform/25/kdevpythonlanguagesupport.so: (/lib64/libkdevpythonduchain.so: undefined symbol: _ZN8KDevelop16BackgroundParser11addDocumentERKNS_13IndexedStringENS_12TopDUContext8FeaturesEiP7QObject6QFlagsINS_8ParseJob24SequentialProcessingFlagEE)"

I am on Fedora 24 KDE. KDevelop version is 4.90.92 in the About KDevelop window. But my yumextender shows the version is 5.0.0-0.3

This is a library version mismatch between the Python pluigin (which is a separate package!) and kdevplatform. Please check if you updated all the kdev-* packages.

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

scummos: I was the one who'd discussed with you with that 'ppk' name in KDevelop IRC. As told, I've filed a bug report with Fedora.
