Debugging on Windows?

Wed Jan 11, 2017 3:58 pm
Hi,

I have been trying to configure KDevelop to work on Windows 7 at work but I can't use the debugging tools.
Can I use those tools on Windows (i.e. should be gdb I think)?
Alternatively, can I use another debugger somewhat conveniently? The point of an IDE being convenience...

Thanks

EDIT: also if someone knows how to launch an application from an external console in KDevelop for Windows, that'd be cool; I didn't manage to make it work. Although launching the executable manually from the console isn't that hard

I suggest opening a new ticket on invent.kde.org instead, both this thread and the phabricator ticket are rather outdated.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Unfortunately there's no news on this, patches welcome.

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
