Hi,

i am using ubuntu lts 16.04 x64, compiled kdevelop 5.0.3 from source with cmake , on IDE when i try to import a project or new i get :

"Could not load project management plugin KDevCMakeManager."

when run test_cmakemanager i get the output below;

when i run KDevelop from terminal and import project this is what i get:

I had the same problem on Arch. Turns out I didn't have Cmake installed. I installed it and the problem went away.

I had the same problem on Windows 7.
I instaled KDevelop from kdevelop-5.2.1-x64-setup.exe
I try to create simple Qt project and get the error "kdevelop could not load project management plugin KDevCMakeManager". How to fix it?

Do you have cmake installed?

have the same problem
CMake is installed
tried reinstalling KDevelop and CMake
still get same problem

note: use Aptitude for some installations and updates

just started a new session and was able to start a new project
seems to be working
