How to compile a release build?

Sun Mar 26, 2017 1:21 pm
Hi,

KDevelop 5.0.4 Linux Fedora 25

If I Open a Configuration for a project, then alter any of the CMAKE variables, then click on Apply or OK, the system changes CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE to Debug and sets the Launch Configuration to the first on on the list.

I have several directories under Launch Configuration, because I would like to compare Debug and Release with various version both g++ (6.3.1 and 7.0.1) and clang++ (3.9 and 5.0) compilers.

I found a work around: manually edit CMakeCache.txt file, but that is a bit tiresome - there should be an easier way.

Thanks in advance for any help - Regards :)
