I am using latest KDevelop AppImage on kubuntu 16.04.
Every time I run KDevelop, it creates a fontconfig folder in my home folder.
The output of running Kdevelop from command line is like this:

After googling this error I could not find anything helpful.

You can ignore those errors. The folder is a cache from fontconfig, I don't know why it is there, it is supposed to go into ~/.cache/ I think ... maybe something strange with the environment we set up for the appimage. But you can ignore / delete it.
