Hi,

Following the documentation here & here, I created manually a project template.

Code: Select all
[General]
Name=TestProject
Comment=C++ Test Project
Category=Custom/TestProject
Icon=logo.png
#ShowFilesAfterGeneration=
ValidProjectName=^[0-9][a-zA-Z0-9_-]+$

Now in a directory I have
    %{APPNAME}.kdev4
    cpp_testproject.desktop
    Makefile.am
    logo.png
    .kdev4/
    ----%{APPNAME}
    src/
    include/

1) The documentation states that a file my_template.kdevtemplate should be created.
But when trying to add my template, it asked me for a .desktop, I changed the file extension and it worked.
Is there any difference ? or is the documentation outdated ?

2) Following it, I added in a logo in the directory and filed in its name in the file.
Now when i use my template, it will copy the logo and the .desktop files into the new project directory.
How can I get rid of this ? I can probably move the logo somewhere else and change the path to it, but I don't see how to do it with the desktop file

3) I wanted to preconfigure the .kdev4/app.kdev4 files with the proper include paths, but apparently, the .kdev4 directory was ignored.
Is there a way to do it ?

Thanks in advance :)
