I wanted to migrate from eclipse CDT to KDevelop because eclipse is confusing and slow in my VM. I was able to import my existing C++ code base in a cmake based project. However none of the code navigation functionalities seem to work. For example, no classes in classes view, cant find classes, go to declaration does not work, no tool tips and empty source browser. For me it looks like source code indexer is not working. Any tips? Already googled, but could not find any info..

Yeah, that indeed sounds like the C++ plugin is not working. First thing to check would be Help -> Loaded plugins (look for "C++ support (clang based)").

Where did you install KDevelop from? Maybe somebody broke the packaging ...
