In KDevelop 5.3.1 when I place the mouse over a variable/function the mouse pointer becomes a "click hand" and clicking on the variable moves the text cursor to the definition of the variable. (It is extremelly annoying because often I just want to select the variable name and the cursor is moved).
How can I disable this feature?

(I am programming in python)

This is supposed to only happen when you enable source browse mode (look at shortcuts) or press Ctrl. Does it always happen?

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

Source browse mode is disabled and it still happens.

Steps to reproduce:
- With the editor selected, save the document with Ctrl+S > cursor becomes a hand when hovering variables
- Click outside the editor > everything goes back to normal
- Select the editor and Ctrl+S > cursor becomes a hand when hovering variables

Ctrl+S is not binded to "Source browse mode", indeed it is never activated.

I can confirm this, I'm suffering from it too.

It looks like a state persistence issue, almost as if the Ctrl press is detected and not cancelled if you then proceed to hit a key that is part of a defined shortcut.

Should be reported on bugs.kde.org rather than here.
