Howdy. I have tried searching the forum, bug tracker and various search engines without much luck. I am not sure if this is a bug, a local configuration issue or an intentional behaviour change by the KDE crew but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I recently updated to KDevelop 5.5.0 running under Fedora. After this last update the file browser pane in KDevelop has changed how it handles folder expansion. Previous to this update all folders were expandable when using tree view (each folder has an arrow that when clicked expands the branch). After this update, only folders containing subfolders are expandable this way. Folders without subfolders can only be viewed by fully navigating into them which causes the file browser only display that point in the tree.

I have looked through KDevelop's options and so far have not been able to find any way to get KDevelop to stop this behaviour and let me expand all folders as it did previously.

Anyone have ideas?

Cheers

Indeed, looks like a bug. Interesting. I think most people use the Project view instead, which doesn't have this bug.

I think the right place for this is bugs.kde.org.

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
