New install of KDevelop on Kubuntu 20.04. Debugging with GDB an x86 64 bit Assembly program assembled using nasm. I can add a memory view at an address, and it displays that address properly when I add it while debugging is paused at a breakpoint...but it is it not updating at all as I step through the instructions. (The registers, however, update appropriately with each instruction step.) I basically have to add another memory view tab (at the same address) every time to get an updated look at that location in memory.

How come it isn't automatically refreshing?

This sounds like a bug -- it should probably be on bugs.kde.org. Sorry for your trouble!

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
