Hello

I would like to use KDevelop in my work but there is a problem that occur when I import huge non-KDevelop C/C++ project.
Background parser works and after a while it crashes with error output: segmentation fault.


I have tried to use KDevelop 5.4.x and 5.5.x but all of them have that problem.

Is any solution for this issue?

For very large projects, it is often a good idea to disable the background parser.

Regargless, KDevelop shouldn't crash -- do you have a backtrace?

Indeed, turning off the background parser improve KDevelop's stability. I can work with it, although it is more imprecise than the background parser.


Anyway, I think my problem is solved.
