Unable to change theme

Wed Oct 21, 2020 8:38 am
Hi,

I just installed the package distribution of Kdevelop (5.5.0 using qt5ct plugin) on Pop!_OS 20.04 (very similar to Ubuntu).

Now as a programmer, it's vital to have a dark theme. However when I go to Settings > Color Theme, there's only the default one.

I searched on the web but was unable to find a solution on how to add a dark theme to kdevelop. I think it should be packaged with one by default since it's such an important feature!

Thanks in advance

KDevelop reads available colour schemes from /usr/share/color-schemes and ~/.local/share/color-schemes

For the 'default' KDE colour schemes, including Breeze Dark and High Contrast, install the `kde-style-breeze` package. Possibly this should be made a dependency by the distro packagers.

Otherwise you can find many schemes here: https://store.kde.org/browse/cat/112/ord/rating/
