Hi,

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.10.84-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Kdevelop Version: 5.7.211200 (21.12.0)

I successfully set up an OpenFOAM C++ project manually by providing the project root and all the include files. All searches and variable lookups and matches work flawlessly. The one irritating thing is that Kdevelop parses the project from scratch everytime I open it, regardless of whether anything was changed or not. I tried deselecting Reparse the project under Language Support in the project configuration but it reparses anyway. This is a HUGE project that takes 40 minutes to parse so I really need to fix this issue. Is there an additional setting to make or is it a bug to report?

Thanks

Well to look at it differently, is there a setting in Kdevelop where one can instruct the IDE to parse or not on opening a pre-existing project? Something like parse only if something changed since last save... or can it be done by saving the parsing result into a database or ctags file?
