I'm coding with KDevelop-5.5 in Kubuntu-20.04.

My program does a forking and I'm interested in the executive flow of the child process, instead of the parent. If I setup normal "Project target" as my debugging target in the menu "Run | Configure Launches", I can only trace the executive flow of the parent process.

The binary executable of the child is same as the parent, so I need NOT to call a "exec" sys-call.

How to trace the child process with KDevelop?
