Is there any integrated language support or plugins available for text highlighting of .proto files yet in Kdevelop?

I use Kdevelop as my main IDE of choice and as I am starting to using grpc more and more frequently for work purposes. It would be nice to finally have some language support and text highlighting for it.

If not, any info on how I may volunteer to be involved in the proposal of adding language support and possibly even starting an implementation of grpc language support for Kdevelop would be appreciated.
