Hi, I hope I'm getting the nomenclature right:
If I create a split (CTRL-SHIFT-T or -L) and have a bunch of views/tabs open in the original split, I now have one view of the file I had focussed in the new split, and all the other views in the original split. Is there a way to move additional tabs/views in the original split over to the new split? Only way I've found thus far is to open the file I want, open the file browser, hit the 'Current Document Directory' button, scroll to the file I want, switch views by clicking, click the file again, and close the original view. Which is a bit mechanical to have to do multiple times. Being able to drag tabs over, if that's not already possible, would be amazing. Or being able to easily duplicate a view into the new split. Is there a quicker way to do this? Additional question: While one can switch the focussed view with ctrl-tab, it's universal: which split the view is in is not taken into account. I want to know if there's a way to change split focus without being dependent on the order in which you last focussed views? |
