Hi, I'm looking to get started with kde development and i've got the trunk running. I've compiled kdevelop4 from svn.
trunk installed to ~/kde/
trunk source in ~/kdesvn/
and qt in ~/qt4/

now suppose i want to get started with hacking on dolphin (~/ksesvn/kdebase/apps/dolphin) using kdevelop4, please let me know the steps needed.
Thanks.

Start running by running KDevelop4. Go to Project / Open Import. Go to the Dolphin src directory and click on the Dolphin's top level CMakeLists.txt it should open and show you the project and all the source files and configure it as normal. Be sure to make the build is in a different directory than it's source. /dolphin <-- source /dolphin/build <--- build directory.
