Hello
I'd like to try out KDevelop to create a KDE application. Does KDevelop allow "visual programming" (RAD) as seen in Delphi / Visual Studio? I couldn't tell from the Screenshots I've seen so far. Thanks |

Hi
To design forms you can use Qt Designer, and then use KDevelop to code the backend. Or use the Qt Creator IDE which has the Designer built in. It all comes down to personal preference, so you might want to try what suites your workflow. note: Altough much more powerfull these tools are not as integrated or easy to use as Visual Studio (don't know about Delphi) Maarten |

No, KDevelop doesn't have integration with QT Designer (yet). It's still possible to use QT Designer with KDevelop, you just don't have any extra support from the IDE for that (i.e. you'll have to run the Designer in a seperate window, ...).
Overall I think it works quite well, it's just a little bit of manual work required to set it up.
I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
