I'm running openSuSE 12.3 and just upgraded packages from 4.10 to 4.11 and I can NOT get konqueror to start from my main user as root.
I have always had a KDE menu entry set to 'run as another user' = root. It does nothing now.
I tried Alt+F2 > kdesu konqueror
I tried console > kdesu konqueror
I tried console > su (login as SuperUser) > konqueror, again, nothing.

Any help?

Yes there was, but...
between my post and your reply, I logged out and logged into root KDE.
launched konqueror, yast, checked for updates (none), moved window around...
Shutdown and Started pc...
Logged in as norm (auto login) and retried kdesu konqueror...
Works Fine...

Sorry and Thank You!
