Hi,

Can anyone reccomend a MySQL client that I can install on centos - KDE, that I can connect to remote MySQL databases, upload, download database files and edit files remotely?

I was using Navicat on my XP machine but want to find one that I can run on Linux. I would like to connect to a remote Red Hat Linux box

Thanks for any info.

Whilst not KDE specific, you may wish to look into MySQL Workbench.
It is a Gtk application, but should look suitably integrated if you have the Oxygen Gtk theme installed.

Thanks,

I checked it out, they have Fedora, Ubuntu and Oracle linux versions.

Will this run on Centos?

Also I am wondering if Centos has an RMP already included with the Distro that I may have overlooked?

I checked on openSUSE and it has MySQL Workbench packaged - so CentOS likely does as well, although you may need to look towards the community repositories if the MySQL packages are not recent.
