Hello everybody,
The default shortcut in Yakuake to rename a session is "Ctrl-Alt S". When I try to use it the following message error message occurs : "The key sequence Ctrl+Alt+S is ambiguous. Please use "Configure shortcuts" from the "Configuration" menu to resolve this ambiguity." (It's a translation from the french message so it might not be exactly the same in english). I checked in Yakuake shortcuts and nothing has the same definition. Neither in the KDE general shortcuts. I changed the shortcut to "Ctrl-Alt S" and it works fine. However, since I prefer to use the default shortcuts, I was wondering the origin of this error message. Do you have any idea ? |

The other "Ctrl+Alt+S" comes from Konsole, or more precisely, the konsolepart used by konsolepart. If you try konsole, you will find "Ctrl+Alt+S" is the default shortcut for renaming tab/session.
That action was unfortunately(or fortunately, I'm not sure) also exposed to all hosting applications using konsolepart. Whatever, that action has been removed from konsolepart recently, so the problem won't happen in KDE SC 4.9 |
