KDE 4 problems with PCBSD

Sat Apr 28, 2012 8:29 pm
Hi,

Sorry to post this here but i not find the correct OS in specific OS tread.

I install many times PCBD9 with KDE4 in my computer and all the times happen the same thing, normally i made my partitions and add my username in the install wizard. The problem are when i try to use "User Management" when all are installed is not there, even if I try with root login in KDE. Plus at.. When install some applications some icons is not showing in the menu.

One friend installed the system with all default users and PCBSD default user are good. Do you think may is a bug on the install?.

I very appreciate your help.

Thanks

user management should be in the kuser package (or whatever pcbsd calls it) the binary would be /usr/bin/kuser

what icons are missing?
the apps run but the icons are not in the menu? if an app were removed the item may remain but the icon wouldn't
are they kde apps?
is this a new install or an upgrade?
