Errors in kdm.log

Thu May 10, 2012 6:00 am
I've been getting these errors in kdm.log for a while now but haven't been able to figure out why.
I've seen this occuring in Gentoo x64 as well as Fedora 16 x64 on machines with similar hardware.
Here's a part of the log.

Server terminated successfully (0). Closing log file.
klauncher(8424) kdemain: No DBUS session-bus found. Check if you have started the DBUS server.
kdeinit4: Communication error with launcher. Exiting!
kdmgreet(8418)/kdecore (K*TimeZone*): KSystemTimeZones: ktimezoned initialize() D-Bus call failed: "Not connected to D-Bus server"

kdmgreet(8418)/kdecore (K*TimeZone*): No time zone information obtained from ktimezoned

This message indicates an internal problem within the X server. I have not seen this messages myself, but I would recommend Googling them. They could be very well linked to the Intel driver installed on your system.
