How to remove recently used in gnome applications on KDE? When I use to "save as" in Firefox in the diolog window there is recently used entry in "Places".
I read that in .gtkrc-2.0 must be added
Code: Select all
gtk-recent-files-limit=0
gtk-recent-files-max-age=0

but it doesn't work.

Have you checked for the Gtk3 equivalent of the above?

Thanks. That was a brilliant hint. I followed it and found a solution, actually a workaround, but it works for me:
In /home/user/.local/share/ there is a file recently-used.xbel. I deleted it and created a folder of the same name and removed privileges to write and read.
