Hello.
I can't replace "Places" by "Folder Tree view" in the save as menu.
But I used to do that in previous release of opensuse 10.x and 11.x.
This is what I have :

From the spanner on the top-right of the window, uncheck "Show Places Navigation Panel". Then select View > Tree View or Detailed Tree View depending on your preference. This should emulate what you are after closely - although it is not an exact match.

Unfortunately what you are after is not possible as far as I know.
