I did add the weather widget to the panel. Although its configuration dialog includes setting for temperature I don't see hot to show the temperature in the panel. It is just a weather icon. How to make it show the temperature?

This could be related to weather provider.
Which source of weather data are you using? This is displayed in brackets beside the name of your location. eg: bbcukmet. Certain weather providers don't make all information available via their API interfaces unfortunately.

The "Get new widgets" dialog can't find cwp or yawp. I will try to download from else where. |

in Fedora there should be a kde-plasma-yawp
may need to compile cwp, search for it on kde-look.org |
